Hope Identification (Hope IDs)
Hope Identification provides essential identification services to help U.S. citizens and legal residents obtain vital documents, including:
Birth certificates from any U.S. state or territory
Florida state IDs or driver’s license renewals
Verification documentation
HopeIDs supports individuals in overcoming barriers to obtaining a Florida ID. For some, this may mean securing a birth certificate or marriage record needed to update their name. When requirements such as identification or family support are not available, we help by requesting the necessary documentation on their behalf. Throughout the process, we walk alongside each person, offering guidance, advocacy, and care.
Each state has different requirements for issuing birth certificates. These often include gathering early childhood records and other documents to confirm identity, name changes (marriage records), date, and place of birth. Hope Identification is here to guide neighbors through this process, ensuring they have access to the identification they need to continue to build towards self-sufficiency.
Program History
Hope Partnership’s commitment to providing vital identification services began in 2015 through a partnership with IDignity, when IDignity Osceola was launched to assist neighbors in obtaining the identification documents they needed to move forward in life. In 2019, the Community Hope Center transitioned to become Hope Partnership, continuing to grow its mission of empowering neighbors, strengthening communities and building hope. On January 1, 2025, the program officially became Hope Identification (Hope IDs), operated directly by Hope Partnership. While the name has changed, the goal remains the same: helping neighbors overcome barriers to self-sufficiency by ensuring access to vital identification documents.
